• The BESST and BESST/R REVERSIBLE HEAT PUMPS have been specifically designed to produce hot or cold water for heating and cooling purposes of home, commercial and industrial premises. Water heating is performed through the so-called mechanical compression technique of the refrigerating gas with air evaporation. The cooling phase is performed by reverse cycle. The BESST and BESST/R REVERSIBLE HEAT PUMPS project has been optimized thanks to “heat pump” working cycle and the equipment employs the R410A refrigerating gas, which is environment-friendly and in line with current world market developments. As a matter of fact, the new refrigerating gas guarantees heat transfer coefficients that are generally higher than with the R407A mixture, thereby reducing overall equipment dimensions. Moreover, this gas is particularly indicated for heat pumps performing demanding tasks. The carefully-planned external battery – thanks to its peculiar circuiting and hydrophilic surface treatment – contributes to both reducing and speeding up defrost cycles.
    Besides the traditional components, this machine is also equipped with a built-in inertial tank, expansion vessel and pump: such features enable the product to be installed without any additional accessories and/or elements. An advanced electronic control system fully manages all of the equipment’s functions by means of immediate reading and integrated processing of the several temperature and pressure sensors installed. This system also features a self-adapting function to modify the working setpoint according to the actual immediate needs of end users. The BESST/R model differs from the BESST series because of the presence of a built-in supporting electric resistance that gets started in a fully automatic way whenever necessary. Moreover, this equipment can be interfaced with more complex installations that also feature a traditional boiler, the production of domestic water as well as the possibility to be connected with renewable energy systems.
